Delete your Everyvisit account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Everyvisit account and associated personal data.

Delete in the app

1. Open the Everyvisit app and sign in with Apple or Google.
2. Go to Profile (or Settings).
3. Choose Delete account.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
5. If you own a business and the app asks you to close it first, complete that step, then delete your account.

Delete by email

If you cannot use the app, email [email protected] from the email address linked to your account and request account deletion. Include:

• That you want your Everyvisit account deleted
• The name shown on your account (if any)
• Whether you also own a business page that should be closed

What we delete

When your account deletion is completed, we delete or de-identify personal account data associated with that account, including as applicable:

• Your account and profile information
• Personal booking history tied to your account
• Personal messages and related account content we store for you in the product

What we may keep

• Records we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons
• Short-lived backups for a limited period
• Message copies that may remain on other users’ devices when end-to-end encryption was used
• Business listing or operational data that belongs to a business you do not solely own, or that must remain for other users of that business

Timing

Deletion begins when you confirm the request in the app or when we verify an email request. We complete deletion as soon as reasonably practicable. Some residual copies may remain in backups for a limited time before they are overwritten.
